Year 1965 up

This kit is recommended for all heavy duty and race applications.  Features Alto Red Eagle clutches, Kolene steels, Kevlar band, Teflon sealing rings.  The kit includes 6-400-31740A clutches, 6-400-31740 clutches, 6-400-31701AK steels, 6-400-31711K steels, 1-400-31757HP Intermediate Powerpack, 1-400-34510K Kevlar low/reverse band, 1-400-K34900-1AT Gasket & Seal Kit, 1-400-K34903C Bushing Kit, and 1-400-34661S Brass Filter.  Also inluded is a plastic storage plug for the tail housing, cooler fittings, and dip stick hole. 

A red lined front band with welded struts is available with this kit for an additional charge.  You may also substitute the rear Kevlar band for a red. Please select below before adding the kit to your cart.

Year 1965 up

This kit is suitable for an OEM style rebuild.  It contains a full set of OEM quality frictions and steels, front band, rear band, gasket and seal kit, iron sealing ring kit, bushing kit and a filter.  We recommend this kit for stock rebuilds only, for heavy duty and race applications refer to our race kit (Part #400-K31901DR).

This kit contains all the paper and rubber parts required to rebuild one transmission.  Does not include pump seal, tail seal or sealing rings.  Includes reusable pan gasket (Part #400-3893F).
